Andy Warhol was not born in Slovakia. But his parents came to US from Mikova. It is the village in north eastern Slovakia near Medzilaborce. So if you are planning to visit eastern Slovakia do not miss the visit of The Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art in Medzilaborce. There are 23 authentic paintings by Andy Warhol all together. The Museum is also known as Warhol Family Museum of Modern Art. This is an older name of the museum and it was used before 1996.
